Following the acquisition of IOT Plc (IOT) in March 2011, Sharp Electronics (UK) Ltd (Sharp) effectively had two direct service operations which have now been combined together as Sharp IOT Service. The objectives of the combination is to enable Sharp IOT Service to maintain and improve the service delivery given to both the IOT and Sharp customer bases, and to establish a stronger national service delivery capability.
The Sharp operation brings the resources and back up of a major multi-national manufacturer. IOT, which was previously an independent dealer and service provider, has built its business and reputation on providing outstanding service to its customers from its national network of service branches. Combining both operations enables us to provide the combined customer base with the best of both worlds.
